Sound off! Disabled people in Canada are taking a #LastStand

Call to action for all disabled people in legislated poverty in Canada! Disabled Peoples Revolt is making a #LastStand

Outraged by being left for dead in the Canadian federal government’s Budget 2024? Ready to take a stand?

If you, like us, have been waiting five or more years for the Canada government to deliver on its promise to lift disabled people out of poverty only to be left behind once again with Budget 2024, we need you (not your money, we promise. We will fundraise from people with jobs and food/rent money. Speaking of which, if that’s you and you’re reading this, donations are accepted here).

Disabled folks: DPR and #LastStand need your community, your voice, and your solidarity.

We’re aren’t going away silently. We’re not garbage you can clean up with a Maid.

There are words to describe attempts to “clean the gene pool”: genocide, eugenics, social Darwinism

Our voices have been left out of the conversation on whether we can survive anymore in the conditions we are subject to. But we say nothing about us without us.

What you can do

If you haven’t already, please fill out the submission form on the home page. We wish to amplify disabled voices as well as archive them for posterity.

If you know people with jobs and money, please share our fundraiser.

If anyone you’ve ever known has said they would fund a ragtag group of activists who have less than nothing left to lose – we are they, and now is the time.

This is our #LastStand.
