With the Conservative and Green parties voting against Budget 2024, only 16 more “no” votes were needed to defeat it
It’s official. The NDP is going to back the Liberals to pass Budget 2024 and throw disabled people under the bus to appease the owning and middle classes.
”We took time to reflect [on the budget],” Singh told reporters earlier today. The reporters knew better than to trust him so they asked if the NDP leader had confidence Prime Minister Justin Trudeau understood disabled people’s despair and outrage at broken Canada Disability Benefit promises. Singh evaded the line of questioning, instead stating “we made sure these things [the dental benefit and national school lunch program] happened.”
