Thread for discussing action/movement demands

Please refer to the about us page and scroll down to see our current demands (Budget2024):

As an ad hoc, independent collective that reflects the diversity of disability, we expect our demands will evolve with the needs of the people who make up our movement. With respect to federal budget 2024,our demands are simple:

(1) Every disabled person in Canada dependent on social assistance programs is to receive $2000.00/month (on par with CERB),

(2) paid out via cheque or direct deposit within 5-10 business days.
